NEWSPAPER .........JAG RECORDS OKAYS RELEASE OF ALBUM

The Tennessean / Entertainment News

JAG Records executives met for a luncheon-meeting at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville,

to discuss the release of an album recorded by the company's owners, George Lallier & H.V. Tyler.

The two recorded the album, they rightfully titled Hotel Room Demos, in their Virginia Beach hotel room, while on business for the company in late 2011 to mid 2012, "out of boredom", says Mike Bogasky, mangr. & agent for the Blackstone River Band, "and not as a gimmic to sell the company services".  A&R reps for the company have labeled the record a rare collector's item, and say it is a

"classic tribute to raw sound and stripped down recording techniques".  The album has become a

#1 seller in the private music sector.

The audience at the Bogoda Stage were excited when recording artist Mike Benetti took to the stage to perform his second night sold out show, but went into an explosion of cheers when George Lallier and H.V. Tyler of the Blackstone River Band joined him on stage.  Out for an evening to celebrate his birthday, George stated "it's the only place in town to get she-crab soup, and the entertainment is always top-notch", adding, "and it's really top-notch tonight with Mike Benetti playing, he and I go way back".  The surprised and ecstatic audience was treated to three songs with the special guests. U2's "One", The Beatle's "And I Love Her", and one of their own songs "Life Is A Circle", off their newly released Hotel Room Demos album.  "It has been a surprisingly wonderful night for me as well", said Benetti before his closing song.
